Coursework.

  • Developed advanced audio post-production skills within Pro Tools, applying industry-standard techniques to a detailed sound redesign project for film. This involved an in-depth process of editing, mixing, and enhancing audio elements over the course of one month to meet the project's creative and technical requirements.

  • Gained hands-on experience working within a professional studio environment, mastering the operation of the mixing console and associated outboard gear. Developed a comprehensive understanding of studio signal flow, including the routing and processing of audio signals through various components, ensuring optimal sound quality and functionality throughout the recording and mixing processes

  • I took on the full role of producer and recording engineer. I found a band to work with, scheduled studio time, and managed the entire recording process for one of their original songs. This included pre-production planning, setting up the session, choosing and placing microphones, and running the recording session in a professional studio environment. Through this experience, I gained hands-on knowledge of both the technical and collaborative aspects of recording music, from working with artists to capturing high-quality audio.

  • Acquired a thorough understanding of Pro Tools and industry-standard audio production techniques, including advanced automation, key command proficiency, mixing, mastering, and signal processing. Gained hands-on experience in applying these skills to a variety of projects, optimizing workflows and ensuring professional-level audio quality and precision throughout the entire production process

  • learned how to create and implement audio specifically for interactive media. I designed sound effects, ambient environments, and user interface sounds to enhance gameplay and storytelling. Using tools like digital audio workstations (DAWs) and middleware such as Wwise, I integrated audio into game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine. The class focused on both the creative and technical aspects of game audio, including working with adaptive sound, real-time parameters, and trigger-based events. By the end of the course, I had built a fully sound-designed game scene, applying industry-standard workflows and techniques.
